Dickran Kabarajian CLU LUTCF is a successful advisor with over 30 years of experience. Graduating from St. John’s University’s School of Business Administration with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, he continued his education with The American College earning a Life Underwriting Training Council Fellowship in 1999 and achieving his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 2004. Dickran started his career with MetLife in Garden City in October of 1992 as a career financial services representative and continued for 24 years until the field force was sold to Mass Mutual. While at MetLife he succeeded in achieving Leaders and Presidents Conference Qualifications for over 15 years, achieved the Multi Line Service award any year it was awarded and gave classes to Life Underwriting Council Students through the National Association of Life Underwriters and surpassed many sales goals while always mentoring and teaching. After Mass Mutual he joined AXA Advisors now Equitable Advisors in November of 2016 and achieved Centurion Qualifier Status.
This year marks the thirtieth year in the business, and he is known as Dickran for all your insurance needs. As he is a true multi line rep, servicing all kinds of insurance from Auto to Life, to Investments and Annuities. He is licensed with Life, Health, Series 6, 7, 63, 65, and Property and Casualty licenses. He is known at the guy to talk to as an advisor to many of the top firms in New York’s Jewelry District.
As a first-generation citizen he is adept and loves dealing with all different types of nationalities and cultures. Diversity and Inclusion have been part of his practice from the very beginning.
Dickran is also a leader in health insurance be it group health, individual, and an overall advisor to clients needing advice on Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Advantage and Dual Special Needs Plans. As an Authorized to Offer Qualifier with UnitedHealthcare AARP Plans his experience in this matter is very crucial to many Boomer Generation clients. His company, Kabco Benefits Group, Ltd. deals with most forms of insurance tailored to Small Business Owners and High Net Worth Professionals. Dickran is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, Deacon in the Armenian Apostolic Church, Vice Flotilla Commander of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary Cold Spring Harbor Flotilla and enjoys sailing on the Long Island Sound. Dickran has been married to Liza for over 29 years, and they have 3 children, Aren, Sarine and Nayira and live in Dix Hills NY. His other interests include Basketball, Backgammon, and a deep interest in Technology. Dickran speaks Armenian, Turkish and Spanish.
